Two from Nagaland attend Asian Conference for Law Students

Kohima, August 28 (MExN): The Asian Conference for Law Students under the theme ‘Law & Truth: Sacred calling of the Christian lawyers’ was held at Hotel Holiday INN, Bangkok Silon, Thailand from August 14 to 19 organised by ADF (Alliance Defending Freedom) International and Handong International Law School, South Korea.  

Representing the Kohima Law College, two LL.B final year students namely Sezulou Losou and Limkhushi Thongliu had attended the conference, stated a press release.  

Delegates from Pakistan, South Korea, China, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Nepal, India, Singapore and Malaysia had attended the conference. The speakers consisted of professors, senior advocate and senior legal consultants were from various law universities and law firms of U.S.A, Europe, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and India.  

The delegates had also attended the SEAFORB (South East Asian Freedom of Religion and Belief) Conference which was held on August 17 at Hotel Window, Suites, Bangkok where the delegates were mostly MPs from South East Asian countries deliberating on Freedom of Religion and Belief in Foreign Policy and National Legal Architecture, Trends, Threats and Intersection with Fundamental Freedom.  

Back home in Nagaland, a thanksgiving service was held at the residence of Professor-in-Charge Kezhokhoto Savi on August 28 at Kohima where Sezulou Losou and Limkhushi Thongliu shared their experiences in attending the Asian Conference for Law Students at Bangkok.  

On August 29 Sezulou Losou and Limkhushi Thongliu will be taking part in the programme scheduled at Kohima Law College.
