DIMAPUR, JULY 5 (MExN): Two unidentified dead bodies were recovered by Dimapur Police from different location on July 4. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, in a press release informed that an unidentified body of a female was recovered near Youth Resource and Sports Old Boys Hostel, State Stadium on July 4 noon.
The body was highly decomposed and beyond recognition. The deceased was found wearing a dark green sleeve top, dark green long pant and a pair of slipper (blue & pink). The body is being kept at District Hospital morgue, the police stated. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been asked to contact Officer-in-Charge, Women PS Dimapur. (7085055027)
Another dead body of a non-local male aged around 50 years was recovered at Old NST, Dimapur. On conduct of inquest no foul play could be established, the police stated. It said deceased appeared to be a beggar and may have died due to starvation.
