Dimapur, June 24 (MExN): The Tenyiphe Youth Organization (TYO) has vehemently condemned the act of the perpetrators namely Md. Abdul Salam, Habijaj Begum and Abdul Bari for allegedly abducting a minor child while lauding Dimapur Police and TYO members for nabbing the abductors and rescuing the child on time.
TYO president Rokosielie Viyie and vice president Mhasileto Medoze in a press release stated that “on ground of violation of the customary law of the village, TYO with the consent of the Tenyiphe Village council has expelled the alleged abductors who were temporary residents in the village along with their children from the Tenyiphe Village Jurisdiction w.e.f 1June 19, 2019.
The Organisation also stated that “if anyone of them is seen in the village or any person found sheltering the accused within the village jurisdiction, TYO shall take its own course of action as per the law of the land against the defaulter.”
