KOHIMA, JANUARY 17 (MExN): An Under - 21 football and senior men volleyball tournament organised by 78th Bn CRPF in collaboration with Sechü-Zubza Football Club under civic action program began on January 17 at WAPO ground in Kohima.
A press release issued by 78th Bn CRPF stated that the tournament was inaugurated by Sarbjit Singh, DIGP ( OPS ), Kohima in the presence of Surender Singh , Comdt - 78bn; Kevi Mor, President, Sechü-Zubza FC; Ram Chandra , 2-I/C; Anil Kumar Jha , 2-I/C; Fr. Samuel, Rector DBS; village council chairman and various other dignitaries .
Eight teams for both the games are participating in the two-day tournament which started on Thursday at WAPO ground. The respective final matches of both football and volleyball will start at 2:00 pm on January 18 beginning 2:00 pm onwards at WAPO ground.
