Kohima, May 20 (MExN): A Resource, MSME and Agriculture Carnival camp was organised by UCO Bank was held The Oriental Grand Hotel, Kohima on May 19.
A press release received here stated that branch managers from branches situated in and around Kohima, as well as current and prospective customers, were invited to the event. Under the initiative, loans are being provided to eligible new and existing customers according to their needs.
Shashi Kant Kumar, General Manager UCO Bank Head Office, Kolkata was present in the camp. Kumar, in his speech informed the customers about the achievements of the Bank for the financial year 2024-25, which included deposits of over Rs 2.93 Lakh Crore, advances of over Rs 2.19 Lakh Crore, and Business of over Rs 5.13 Lakh Crore.
Zonal Manager, Narendra Pratap Singh, in the welcome note stated that the bank is committed to the socio-economic development of the state of Nagaland. Under this campaign, that is ongoing in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26, Jorhat Zone has approved loans of over 34 crore rupees to 562 beneficiaries so far.
MSME Head of Jorhat Zone, Amit Kumar, highlighted features of the latest loan products launched by the Bank such as UCO Contractor, UCO Trader, UCO Abhinandan, UCO GST Smart Finance, UCO MSME Yuva Shakti, and UCO Nari Samman.
Deputy Zonal Head, Hasan Ejaz Hashmi, highlighted the features of the latest savings deposit products launched by the bank, namely UCO Unique, UCO Royal, and UCO Privilege, as well as the current deposit products UCO Business and Business Plus along with various freebees available with us.
Others present were Branch Manager cum Chief Manager of UCO Bank, Kohima Branch, Gautam Das, Senior ManagerMatheba Besii, Special Customer Service Assistant Nilesh Kumar Jha, and the Branch Manager of Kohima Secretariat Branch, Ruslono Sakharie.
