Kohima, April 22 (MExN): A three day long silver jubilee celebration of the Union Christian Revival Church (UCRC), New Market Kohima which begun on April 20 culminated on Sunday evening.
A press release received here stated that on April 22, during Sunday devotional service Rev. Khriezetuo Keretsu, Chairman, ACRCC delivered a message while Adule Chale, Dikoness pronounced invocation prayer followed by Bible reading by Neikuonuo Sachii, Chairperson, junior CYE, UCRC. Jubilee choir and Women group presented special numbers.
Later, in the jubilee culminating service Pastor Zhabu Kuotsu delivered a message on the topic “He named it Ebenezer, saying, thus far the Lord has helped us.” The programme started with the invocation prayer pronounced by Yatuoii Whuorie followed by Bible reading by Puchosiil Tetseo, Evangelist. Jubilee choir, Children Ministry and Father Group presented special numbers.
Highlighting the brief history of the Church, Keneingunuo Solo, Souvenir Secretary informed that the present Church location plot of land is a solemn gift from Khriedi-u Whuorie and family on 06-08-1992 and the Church building is dedicated to the glory of God by Rev. Viketou Kiso Pastor, CRC Kigwema village on 18-04-1993, and in commemoration of the Church Silver Jubilee (1993-2018) of Union Christian Revival Church, New Market road, Kohima, the monolith is unveiled by Rev. Dr. Luozilie Sanchu, executive secretary ACRCC on 20-04-2018 with the blessing of local Church Pastor Zhabu Kuotsu.
Hundreds of believers from various Churches attended the jubilee celebration. The main speakers of the three-day long celebration were; Pastor Vichiilie Kelio, CRC, Kohima village, Pastor Zhabu Kuotsu, UCRC, Kohima, Rev. Dr. Luozilie Sanchu, Executive Secretary, ACRCC and Rev. Khriezetuo Keretsii, Chairman, ACRCC.
