DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 6 (MExN): United Falcon Club (UFC) and Medziphema Village Youth Organisation (MVYO) joined Fury FC and Amigos FC in the semi finals of the Frolic Cup on February 6.
United Falcon Club defeated Ton FC Molvom by 2 goals to one. UFC took the lead in the 15th minute from a fine free kick from Viketouzo Vasa. Ton FC came back with a free kick of their own at the 28th minute from the boot of Jangtinlun. The second half saw both teams fight for the deciding goal. UFC broke the stalemate when Nourhielhoulie Vasa rattled net with his right foot in the final minute of the match.
The Medziphema Village Youth Organisation (MVYO) team defeated the Winfield with a strong 4-0 win. The game saw a fight for midfield dominance. MVYO opened the score with a diving header from Avika in the 13th minute followed by a shot from the boot of Langphong in the 16th minute. The match was sealed with a fine finish from Thejasetuo in the 55th minute followed by a power kick at close range from Keneisede in the final minute.
