Kohima: A UGC funded stadium, Zapa Indoor Stadium, was inaugurated at Japfü Christian College in the presence of Japfüphiki Baptist Church Council (JBCC) functionaries, Pastors, Deacons, JCC Land Settlement Committee, Kigwema Village & Kipfüzha Sector leaders along with Mr. Zapa Yano and family on May 17, 2014.
The stadium was dedicated by Rev. Vilhounei-o Tacü, Travelling Pastor, JBCC. The Management, Principal, Staff and Students expressed their gratitude to God and all stakeholders for helping the college in achieving yet another milestone. The stadium has been named after Zapa Yano who donated his land to JBCC free of cost and without any condition or encumbrance.
The college is sponsored by 14 Baptist Churches under the umbrella of JBCC, a communiqué received from the college stated.
