Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and the Government of Nagaland for the implementation of the UID project in the state. The MoU was signed on September 30. The MoU was signed by Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Lalthara, IAS and Deputy Director General of UIDAI, Davinder Kumar, IAS, on behalf of the Government of Nagaland and the UIDAI, Planning Commission. Deputy Director General of UIDAI Anil Khachi, IAS, also delivered a power-point presentation on the UID project.
