Dimapur, November 17(MExN): The United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) stated that the news report in some local dailies dated November 17, 2011 where it was stated that two persons were shot by unknown miscreants at Sajik Tampak in Chandel District is condemnable. The press note issued by J.M Zou, Scretary, Information and publicity, UKLF stated that the allegations made by some news that UKLF was involved was baseless and unfound. It was pointed out that the organization had no knowledge on the incident and will investigate.
The organization stated that till date it had been co-operating with the Government and the SOO pact and that the organization had been following the ground rule with strict discipline.The organization asserted that such false and contradicting allegations made to defame the organizations will not be accepted and should not be trusted by the general public.
