The 52nd Sports meet of Upper Khomi Youth Organization (UKYO) commenced today under the theme “Master the field, define your destiny” at Upper Khomi in Phek district.
Nunese Sale, CEO, Nune’s Construction & president Vision Trinity Club graced the opening ceremony as the special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Sale encouraged the youths to work hard and stay consistent and dedicate themselves in the particular field they are interested in. He also encouraged the villagers to stay united and work together for the betterment of their village and achieve beyond what they have already achieve.
Further, he encouraged the youth to showcase their talent in sports and go beyond the four walls of Nagaland.
The inaugural function was led by Kulupoyi V. Vadeo while welcome address was delivered by Nuvecho Vero, VCC Upper Khomi. UKYO president Nukuzo Ciirha delivered the presidential address.
Mutuzo Dziido administered oath to the participating teams. The meet will continue till December 12.
