Addressing campaign rally at Ward 7 Daklane, Kohima on June 22, Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate Kazheli Tungoe (Ali) assured that given the chance, she will ensure equitable distribution of infrastructural development and services.
She assured to work to empower youth, women and affirmative groups (people with disability, elderly) while also make efforts to create a model ward in the capital with holistic community development in the ward.
She expressed hope that the people of the colony will give her the opportunity to serve them better as councilor. Ali assured to give her best and work with all transparency for the general welfare of the colony together with the government.
Nagaland Women Resources Development and Horticulture Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse assured that Ali would work hand in hand with the elected councillor and bring more development and progress to the Ward.
Daklane Panchayat Chairman Vibeilie Metha shared the resolution as per the State Election Commissar and AKMWP – one man one vote; clean and fair election.
Nagaland School Education & SCERT advisor Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, former chairman of Daklane Mhiesizokho Zinyü, NDPP 8 Western Angami A/C and PA to Minister Vikholie Yiese and NDPP vice president Theyiekielie Tacü also delivered short speech.
The programme was chaired by Campaign Director Avi-ü Kirha while chief agent Dr David Sachü delivered welcome address. NDPP Daklane women unit Abuno Meyase proposed vote of thanks.
