Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) candidate Khriezotuonuo Rüpreo for Ward 10 (Officers’ Hill & Hospital Colony), Kohima for the upcoming ULB election 2024 today stated that her vision for poll is to push Smart City to install more CCTVs with better upgraded quality.
Speaking at the campaign rally here at Red Cross building, Rüpreo stated that if elected, she would work to ensure better solar powered street lightings in every nook and corners of the ward, to repair and construct better footpaths, staircases and footbridges and also expand the existing ones and to implement more accessible and clean drinking water to the ward citizens.
Rüpreo also stated that she would focus on improving waste management by encouraging waste segregation and recycling of waste and proper maintenance of clean drainages to achieve a more sustainable environment “for ourselves and our future generations.”
She also vowed to empower local entrepreneurs by providing better platforms and opportunities and to identify space for smarter parking solution.
Addressing the rally, Nagaland Women Resources Development & Horticulture Minister, Salhoutuonuo Kruse said, “Trusting in her capabilities to hold any responsibilities, we have allotted the party ticket to her.”
Dr Neiphrezo Keditsu, advisor to Chief Minister and chairman Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board, Theyiekielie Tachu, Vice President NDPP and Convenor ULB election Committee Kohima Region, Zaciiyi Nienu, chief agent of the candidate and others also addressed the rally.
