In view of the upcoming ULB elections 2024 scheduled for June 26, the Phek Region of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) will be distributing NDPP party ticket to the intending candidates under Phek district for Phek Town Council, Meluri Town Council, Pfutsero Town Council and Chozuba Town Council on June 10 at Phek town at 11:00 AM.
Phek Town Council and Pfutsero Town Council has 11 wards each while Meluri Town Council and Chozuba Town Council has 9 wards each.
Nagaland’s power & parliamentary affairs minister K.G. Kenye, Nagaland’s NRE & NSDMA advisor Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe and Nagaland’s CAWD & taxes advisor Kudecho Khamo will address the ticket distribution ceremony.
NDPP CEB vice president K. Puro will also address the gathering.
Ticket distribution and administration of pledge will be led by Chubutse Naro, member secretary ULB Election Committee, Phek Region.
The programme will be led by NDPP CEB general secretary Dr. K. Hoshi while welcome address will be delivered by NDPP Phek region president Neikhrolo Khalo.
Act of blessing will be pronounced by Rev. T. Alem, pastor Ao Baptist Arogo Phek while vote of thanks will be proposed by Nuzota Swuro, convenor, ULB Election Committee, NDPP Phek region.
