Kohima, January 21 (DIRP): The Nagaland State Election Commission has deputed Senior Officers of the Government of Nagaland to be deployed as Observers during the ensuing elections to municipal and town council in the State.
There will be an orientation program for the Observers, including the Reserve Observers on January 24 at 11:00 am in the conference hall of the office of the Commissioner, Nagaland. There will be no provision for exemption from election duty unless in extraordinary circumstances on the condition that a replacement Observer is also proposed.
Following are the Senior Officers appointed against the respective municipal council and town council as ‘Election Observer’.
