DIMAPUR, JULY 23 (MExN): The United Naga Village Ao Senso Telongjem (UNAST) has written to the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur regarding the trouble faced by people in the aftermath of the bridge collapse over the Chathe River. The NUAST said that till now “nothing has been done by the concerned authorities to mitigate the problem of the public starting from Naga United Village till Niuland sub division where thousands of people and hundreds of villages are settled. It pointed to the suffering faced by students and their parents, especially those from poorer sections of society, and the commute they have to face in order to get to school. It also cited the trouble faced by those who are sick and in need of immediate medical treatment. The NUAST urged the DC to extend NST bus service till Naga United Village Daily Bazaar at the earliest in order to alleviate the problems of the pople there to some extent.
