Undergraduate admission concludes at Delhi University

Dimapur, June 11 (MExN): The much sought-after Delhi University admissions for the reserved category i.e SC and ST started on May 28 and continued till June 8, well assisted by the Naga Students Union Delhi executives, Admission Committee, Unit Executives and their volunteers.
A press note from the NSUD issued by its public relations secretary Chumbemo M. Patton stated: “There was apprehension and confusion running high even with our candidates when the news about the changed process of admission was announced but much to everyone’s relief the process remained the same for us.  Form collection and submission was from 9:30 Am till 2 Pm. Except for the unbearable heat, all went well.”
The union in the press note stated that the NSUD cell helped not only the aspiring Naga candidates but also students from other states.  Moreover, it stated that Delhi University offers courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and some profession-oriented courses like Journalism, Mass Com, etc and some vocational courses.
The MA registrations and entrance exams for some departments are also under way. Overall, the ‘admission team’ was able to assist more than 1,500 applicants, including non-Nagas, within the 10 days of admission, informed NSUD in the press note.
