Mon, August 10 (MExN): An undertaking was signed between the Konyak Union Mon Branch and M/S Affluent Enterprises and Services on August 10 to make the road from Tizit (Namtola) to Mon ‘motorable’ by August 15. As per undertaking between the two entities, making the road ‘motorable’ involves repairing of ‘major potholes and undulations’ for smooth ride of vehicles. The undertaking further stated that the road will be constructed as per the DPR (Detailed Project Report) and completed as per the timeline given by the NHIDCL (National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation). According the KU Mon Branch, the undertaking was signed after it members inspected the road stretch on Wednesday.
