Ungma ‘A’ Khel water pump project complete

DIMAPUR, FEB 7 (MExN): The Ungma Impang (Ungma ‘A’ Khel) water pump project at Kubok water sources below National Highway near Sericultural farm Mokokchung has been completed with a loan of Rs. 30,00,000/- (Rupees thirty lacs) from the Nagaland state Co-Operative Bank, Mokokchung Branch.

This was informed through a press statement issued by Imolemba, Tatar, Chairman, Ungma Impang Mopungsanger, Pusu Menden. This project was commissioned on 1st February, 2006 by M. Bendangnukshi Longkumer, Director, Nagaland State Co-Operative Bank, Nagaland.

With the commissioning this project, the Ungma villagers had fulfilled a long cherished dreams to have its own sources of water, it was stated.

Appreciating the role of the concerned officer, it was stated that the success of this project was mainly due to the initiative taken by M. Bendangnukshi Longkumer, in providing the loan and also helping the villagers in all the possible ways. “The Mopungsanger Pusu Menden also keeps in record the assistance rendered by the Executive Engineer PHED, Mokokchung and his subordinate Officers for their material and physical help for the successful completion of the project”. 

The Pusu Menden also thanked I. Imkong, Leader of the Opposition in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly for donating 2 (two) number of water pump for this project. “Though we did not mention every individual by name we would like to thank each one every one who had helped our villager for making this project a grant success”, it was stated.
