Dimapur, December 17 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Tuesday stated that on December 16 at around 1320 hrs, a verbal information was received at East police station stating that one unidentified non-local male was lying under constructed room near Post Office, Dimapur.
Accordingly, the duty party rushed to the spot and found one non-local male dead body aged around 35-40 yrs (approx) lying dead. “Inquest was conducted over the dead body and it is highly suspected that the cause of dead was due to starvation,” the Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, Dimapur, Nagaland stated in a press release.
On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification.
