Dimapur, June 24 (MexN): An unidentified male body was recovered near Police Point, Khermahal, Dimapur on June 23.
As per an official release from the Dimapur Police, information was received via a phone call from the Police Control Room stating that a ‘non-local male,’ estimated to be between 35–40 years of age, was found lying unresponsive at the location.
A duty team was immediately dispatched to the spot, where the individual was confirmed dead, it said.
Following the completion of legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification, it stated.
The police described the deceased as having a dark complexion and approximately 5 feet 5 inches in height. At the time of recovery, he was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a blue/yellow-grey T-shirt.
