DIMAPUR, JULY 1 (MExN): An unidentified male, estimated to be between 35 to 40 years of age, was found dead at the LRC waiting shed in Dimapur on June 25 evening.
According to Dimapur Police, telephonic information was received at around 5:30 PM on June 25 at the West Police Station from the Control Room of the Dimapur Police Commissionerate, informing them of the presence of a deceased person at the location.
A duty team was immediately dispatched to the site, where an inquest was conducted. Police said no foul play was detected during the preliminary inquiry. Upon completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the morgue at District Hospital Dimapur for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased is described as a non-local male with dark complexion, wearing a black jeans pant and a blue-and-white T-shirt. Police have requested that any claimant, relative, or acquaintance of the deceased contact the Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur, at Mobile No. 7085055024.
