DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 19 (MExN): Dimapur Police recovered one unidentified male body, believed to be aged between 30-35 years, lying on the footpath area near Khermahal in Dimapur on Tuesday. According to a press release issued by PRO & Dy Commissioner of Police, inquest was conducted during which a syringe was recovered from the deceased’s possession.
On further examination, no bodily injury mark was found over the dead body and the cause of death is highly suspected to be due to substance overdose, the PRO stated. On completion of all legal formalities the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification.
