Dimapur, July 4 (MExN): An unidentified male body was recovered from the Taxi Stand in Dimapur near the dumping area around 11 PM on July 2. The police suspect the cause of death to be illness after an inquest.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO of Dimapur Police, the deceased was a non-local aged approximately 45 years, with a dark complexion and black hair. He was dressed in blue jeans and a red and white striped t-shirt.
Police reported that the GRPS duty party rushed to the spot upon receiving information for verification. After completing all legal formalities, the body was transferred to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
