DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 9 (MExN): An unidentified male, believed to be around 50–60 years old and reportedly a non-Naga, was found dead below the flyover near Hotel Blue Bird in Dimapur. According to initial information, the deceased was a homeless person who frequently slept in the area.
No visible injury marks were found on the body, and the cause of death is suspected to be starvation and illness. Police conducted an inquest at the spot, and after completing all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased was wearing a black T-shirt and a white shirt. Relatives, friends, or anyone able to identify the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur, at 7085055020.
