DIMAPUR, MARCH 21 (MExN): An unidentified male was found dead near Bridge No. 265, between Dimapur and RxR, on the morning of March 21. The body was discovered at approximately 7:30 am after the Government Railway Police Station in Dimapur received a report from the Station Manager about the incident.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police found the deceased, estimated to be around 45-50 years old, lying beneath the bridge. It is suspected that the individual was struck by a passing train. After completing legal formalities, the body was moved to the District Hospital Morgue for a post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased was described as wearing a black half pant, a blue open sweater, and a dark grey T-shirt. Dimapur police have urged anyone who may know the deceased to contact the Officer-in-Charge of the Government Railway Police Station, Dimapur at 7085055021.
