Dimapur, May 20 (MExN): An unidentified non-local man, believed to be around 60 years old, was found dead near Hazi Park on Tuesday, police said.
According to Dimapur police, telephonic information regarding the incident was received at Dimapur East Police Station at around 11.20 am.
Following the information, duty personnel rushed to the spot for verification.
Police said an inquest was conducted over the body and the preliminary assessment suggested that the death was suspected to be due to illness.
After completion of legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants, police said.
