Dimapur, June 6 (MExN): The second ‘Vikas Parv’ programme on the second anniversary of the completion of two years BJP-led NDA government is scheduled to be celebrated on June 9, at Agri Expo premises, Dimapur, at 3:00 pm. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Development of NER (DONER) (IC), PMO Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Dept of Atomic Energy, Dept of Space, Maj Gen Khanduri (Former Chief Minister), Dr. Anil Jain, National BJP General Secretary, Shahnawaz Hussain, BJP Spokesperson are scheduled to address the public meeting.
BJP Nagaland General Secretary (Media), Jaangsillung Gonmei has informed in a press release that hectic preparations are underway by the joint DAN organizing committee of BJP Nagaland and NPF.
The NDA’s second anniversary celebration through nationwide month-long programme of ‘Vikas Parv’ or public outreach programme would be interspersed with public meetings, seminars, social networking, public interactions and discussions on governance and public issues needing utmost attention and those which have been accomplished or in the process of accomplishment by the NDA government.
The press release added that the public meeting with Union Minister for DONER, Dr. Jitendra Singh and his entourage on June 9, would be an important event as the issues that would be addressed are nearer home and immediate to the developmental needs and aspirations of the people.
The BJP Nagaland has invited all the people, women, youths, leaders of various social, business and political organizations, to come, attend and be a part of the celebration meeting and discussions. All the BJP Nagaland party officials and members of various levels and frontals particularly Dimapur and Kohima District are informed to attend the meeting without fail. Party members may also ensure to bring along family and friends.
