DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 16 (MExN): Union Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar is scheduled to visit Kohima and Dimapur during a two day visit to the State starting September 17.
A press release from the PIB informed that the Union Minister, who will be arriving from Imphal in the morning by road, will first visit STPI, Kohima on his arrival and will distribute the Kaushal Yacharya Award after which he will make an inspection visit to ITI Kohima.
Later, he will proceed to state BJP office to attend a programme celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The visiting Minister will also call on Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, hold a press conference and attend a cultural programme in the evening.
On the second day of his tour, Rajeev Chandrasekhar will proceed to Dimapur and visit the Skill Upgradation Centre for Tribal Women (Under SANKALP) and Handicraft Industry Cluster (HC-SSC). Later in the evening, the Minister will depart for Dimapur Airport from where he will proceed to Delhi by air.
