Nagaland’s lone Lok Sabha MP, S. Supongmeren Jamir, today launched the jersey for United Brothers Club, D-Block, Kohima.
The club will be participating in the upcoming 25th anniversary edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025, scheduled from September 13 to October 18.

Addressing the gathering at the jersey launching programme at D-Block Council Hall, Jamir urged the players to maintain discipline and respect their coaches and seniors in order to excel in sports. He emphasized that discipline and team spirit are essential components for success. Jamir also encouraged the players to cultivate strong willpower in their pursuit of excellence.

The jersey was sponsored by Ronald Chasie (Travel), Khrieletuo Belho (Home), and Teisongulie Dziivichii (Away). Meanwhile, Kevilebei Zashiimo and Kezevituo Vizo have been providing free coaching to the players.

Earlier, James Yhome introduced the players of United Brothers Club. Vizokhotuo Vizo will serve as the team manager, with Robin Belho as coach and Kezevituo Belho as assistant coach.

The players include Imsuwati Longkumer, Ruokuongulie Dziivichii, Akhrietuo Dziivichii, Ratish Thapa, Akash Dey, Neihetuo Linyii, Bikash Karki, Neisalhou Steve Yhome, Thejangulie Vizo, Kunal Chetri, Rohan Thapa, Santosh Subha, Chingmei Sosolee, and Thejangutuo Solo.

Guest players include Selhouvi Belho, Vizotuo John Sekhose, Thejavizo Peseyie, Ruovizhalie Whuorie, and Kedolhuvi.
