Dimapur, July 2 (MExN): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Unity College and the Assam Kaziranga University was signed on July 1. The signing programme held at the college conference hall was chaired by Dr Adani Ngullie, Asst Professor & Coordinator IQAC, Unity College.
A press release received here stated that in the welcome address, Dr Lichumo Enie, Principal, Unity College acknowledged the Assam Kaziranga University for the initiative taken to come up with the MoU.
Abhijeet Bharadwaj, Manager, Kaziranga University said that they have already signed three MoU in Nagaland i.e. Tetso College, Chümoukedima; Kohima Science College; and Unity College, Dimapur.
Director & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Kaziranga University, Bobby Roy attested that “the University has a thriving Placement Cell that tie up with various MNC and other agencies for campus recruitment not just to the students but also to the youth from outside other campus.” The MoU will enable both the institution to exchange faculty and student exchange and allow “Unity College students to participate in the Pool Campus recruitment drive hosted by the Kaziranga University from time to time.”
The release added that both parties undertake to promote and develop academic cooperation such as faculties and students exchange, Faculty Development Program, and research collaboration. The agreement is for two years.
