Unity College organised its annual sports meet from February 7 to 9.
Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): Unity College, Dimapur organised its annual sports meet from February 7 to 9. The three-day event, held in the college campus and DDSC stadium, witnessed competition among the five participating teams: Dover, Panama, Prodigies, Vagator and Windsor. The sports event witnessed a range of indoor and outdoor games.
In the inaugural ceremony, Principal Dr Lichumo Enie exhorted students to compete with the sportsman spirit and to always ‘Strive for Excellence’. It was followed by the Oath Taking led by H Yamkho Shamo, Sports Secretary, PGSC and Torch Lighting Ceremony. The commencement of the sports meet was declared by the Vice Principal, Dr Temjenwabang.
The sports meet concluded with the closing ceremony where prizes and certificates were distributed. Team Windsor was declared as the 
overall champion and team Prodigies was declared the Best Disciplined.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Yanremo Odyuo, Sports Secretary UCSC.
