Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): The IQAC, Literary Committee and Drama Club of Unity College, Dimapur held a literary day on September 29 at the College Lawn.
A press release from Mhonbeni Jami Dean, Students’ Welfare stated that drama and folk fusion was an interdepartmental competition, while the remaining four events were open to all the students. The Department of English and the Department of Commerce were placed in the 1st and 2nd positions respectively in the Drama competition, Department of Political Science won the Folk Fusion followed by the Department of English.
Meanwhile in the individual category, Luli Z Sumi of BA 5th Semester was the winner of Performance Poetry. Vilokali Sumi of B.A. 5th Semester won the Cos Play, Sketching went to Manpon Konyak of BA 5th Semester, while Zuchobeni of BA 3rd Semester won the Story Tellers event.
