Students and teachers of the Unity College of Teacher Education at Silas Care Centre in Dimapur
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The B.Ed. first semester students and teachers of Unity College of Teacher Education, Dimapur, visited Silas Care Centre in Dimapur.
The visit was a part of their community outreach activity, stated a press release received here, adding that the purpose of the visit was to enhance their knowledge on the functioning of the centre concerning the welfare of the rehabilitated people.
It stated that upon arrival, the group was warmly welcomed by the director of the centre, Moarenla Amer. The event was chaired by Menangchiba L. Pongen while Khahwan Konyak led the invocation, followed by bible reading by Benito, testimony by Mhonbemo Ezung and a special song by ImnangangshiOzukum and Hangming Shiu. V Uto Chishi said the vote of thanks and Orenponi Lotha ended the programme with a prayer.
Following the programme, a lively game session was conducted during which the residents enthusiastically participated. Gifts were presented to the winners which brought smiles and laughter all around.
