Dimapur, November 24 (MExN): The Career Counseling Cell of Unity College organized a career awareness programme in association with Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on November 22 with Chiranjeeb Sarma Roy, officer-in-charge, North Eastern Chapter of ICSI and Gautam Goswami, CS & Faculty member of NE Chapter of ICSI.
Roy and Goswami spoke at length about the Company Secretary (CS) degree, how and when to take admission, the courses and modules involved etc. He also made the students aware about the huge demand for CS in India and how the present supply of CS is unable to meet the huge demand.
The College informed in a press release that it is planning to start a study center to offer CS course so that students need not go out of Nagaland and “if Unity College does so it will be the first of its kind in Nagaland.”
