Unity Meinlong Club players lifting the 13th M Noke Trophy in Mon on November 8
MON, NOVEMBER 8 (MExN): Defending champions Unity Meinlong Club defended their title by lifting the 13th M Noke Trophy by defeating Deenix FC 2-1 in Mon on November 8.
The champions received a cash prize of Rs 1,25,000 along with a trophy, while the runners up walked away with Rs 80,000 and certificates.
Anki from Unity Meinlong Club was adjudged as the player of the tournament, while Chenwang of Deenix FC was given the best goalkeeper award. Samson of Deenix FC was the highest scorer with 11 goals. The best defender award was bagged by Khoayon of Deenix FC. Meanwhile, Zenith FC were adjudged as the best disciplined team.
