Dimapur, December 2 (MExN): The Ao national workers in an emergency meeting held on December 1 has resolved and reaffirmed to steadfastly stand by the Collective Leadership, informed Arep Jamir, Deputy Kilonser, Kilo Affairs of the NSCN (IM) in a press declaration while also expressing their “fervent desire to unite all the Naga communities to live as one family under a single umbrella”. “We also appeal to all our comrades to work with broader political vision for our younger generation”, the declaration stated adding that the Ao national workers “believe in unity among the Nagas irrespective of great or small and without discrimination of any Naga tribes”. It further stated that Naga unity “should be started from the right track and direction so that true and everlasting unity may be achieved among the Nagas with faith and love”.
