DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): The UNPG NNC (PB) Yimkhiung Region led by its President M Akhum has made a “unanimous decision” to “support to the leadership of the President of the UNPG NNC (PB) S Kiviho Zhimomi and Ato Kilonser Toshi Walling.”
The decision was taken during an emergency general meeting held in Shamator on September 7.
All civil and military set up of the region attended the meeting and arrived at the unanimous decision, informed a press release received here. The Region President also “condemned the MoU signed by Z Royim” and termed it as “unbecoming” of a veteran leader, it said.
He also reiterated that Ato Kilonser of the UNPG NNC (PB) Toshi Walling is Co-convenor of the NNPGs and has appended his signature to the Agreed Position with the Government of India, “as such there is no question of travelling back in time for new negotiations with GoI,” it added.
