UNTABA call meeting to discuss various boundary issues

Dimapur, October 15 (MExN): The United Naga Tribes Association on Border Areas (UNTABA) will be conducting a general Meeting on October 20 discuss “all the pending issues as desired by the Naga people on the Boundary issue.”   According to a press note from UNTABA Chairman Hukavi T Yeputhomi and General Secretary Imsumongba Pongen, the meeting at Tourist Lodge Conference Hall Dimapur from 2PM onwards, will deliberate on agendas such as reiterating the demand for boundary settlement along with political settlement, questionable points on joint boundary commission, emergent need of litigation process on the issue; and detail report on the issue so far.   The Members of the Advisory Board, the Executive Committee Members representing the Konyak Union; Phom People’s Council; Ao Senden from Langpangkong, Japukong and Tsurangkong Ranges; Lotha Hoho from Bhandhari, Lower Lotha Range Public Organisation and Ralan areas; the Executive Committee Members from Northern Sumi area; Rengma Hoho and Rengma Naga People’s Council; the Executive Committee Members representing Western Sumi Hoho and Western Sumi Kukami Hoho from Niuland, Aghunaqa, Khaghaboto, Kuhuboto, Ato Area, Aqahuto and Dimapur; the Executive Committee Members from Zeliangrong and Zeme Council; and the Executive Committee Members from Kuki tribes and Action Committee Members are requested to attend the scheduled meeting positively.   UNTABA also requested the public leaders and GBs of the Phomching, Tapi, Tizit, Wakching, Tamlu, Tuli, Alongtaki, Bhandari, Sanis, Tseminyu, Dimapur I, II, III, Ghaspani I, II, Peren and Tening Assembly segments to attend the scheduled meeting.   All the concerned members are urged to bring their views and opinions in written as per the agenda served to all, it added.
