Uphold reconciliation pledge, NMA to Naga groups

Dimapur, March 27 (MExN): The Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA)   expresses concern at the continuing violence and killings in the state. The NMA issued a note today appealing to the “groups” to adhere to the ‘Covenant of Reconciliation.’ “Killing within the Naga family is too painful for the mothers. While condemning vehemently, shedding of blood amongst the Naga brothers, NMA appeal to all groups to trust and respect each other and once again reminds all groups to adhere to the Covenant of Reconciliation and abstain from all killings and forms of violence,” the note said. The NMA note was appended by Lochumbeni Humtsoe, Secretary.
