Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): The Urra Area Villages Union held a joint meeting with women, youth, chairpersons and Head GBs of the 13 unit villages on September 12 at the union office hall at Urra village and adopted several resolutions with regard to the NH 329 A road project from Sangtamtilla to Pimla junction section via Bade-Kiyeto village.
The house appreciated the government for taking up the long awaited road project and resolved to extend full support to the NHIDCL authority and the concerned contractor. The member villages unanimously agreed to extend their support in their respective jurisdictions by way of maintaining good relationship with the project authority and contractor. They also insisted on quality workmanship and asserted that work specification as per agreement should be implemented by the contractor.
Further, the house resolved that no individual, organisation or government agency shall disturb the work progress “by way of asking tax or creating unnecessary harassment.” They appealed every individual and different organisations including the Naga Political Groups (NPGs) to extend their support for the success of the area’s ‘dream project’.
