
Kiphire: With a vision to have holistic approach on development issues and expand its mission, the United Sangtam Baptist Lithro Ashimukhong (USBLA) organized a social work at Archintre Multipurpose project at Tethuyo village in Kiphire district, which is few kilometers away from the district headquarter, on April 3. Volunteers from more than 7 villages extended help.
The objective of establishing the multipurpose project is to train youngsters for building up their potential in leadership and also to create a space for youngsters to come together, said USBLA Secretary Rev Tsangkhuchu. He added that scientific farming and gardening can also be done in this area and at the same time seminar and refresher courses can also be conducted in this place.
The secretary has expressed gratitude to Tethuyo villager for providing enough land to USBLA ministry and also thanked the volunteers who had come to help in cleaning up the jungle for activities to be taken up.
