Chümoukedima, July 8 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Chümoukedima Abhinav Shivam has informed all concerned to use the district nomenclature appropriately for all purposes.
“It is further cautioned that erroneous use of the district nomenclature is to be avoided henceforth,” stated a notification by the DC on July 7.
The DC further reminded on the Nagaland Home Department’s December 2021 notification regarding the creation of the new district, headquartered in Chümoukedima along with its jurisdiction.
As per the notification, the district of Chümoukedima shall comprise of: (i) Existing administrative area of Medziphema Sub-Division under Dimapur District; (ii) Existing administrative area of Dhansiripar Sub-Division under Dimapur District; and (iii) Administrative area of Seithekema EAC Circle, under Dimapur District.
