Dimapur, December 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothill Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) has appealed to the public, particularly living on the vicinity of the Doyang Bridge, Governor’s Camp, Liphanyan to cooperate with the technically advisory that “use of the Doyang Bridge is completely closed till December 20 including the two wheelers as rectification work is in progress.”
NFHRCC Convenor, Supu Jamir and Assistant General Secretary, Chenithung Humtsoe in a press release further notifed to the travelers from other districts planning to use the Doyang Bridge travelling via Merapani and Vice versa to take note of it seriously.
Use of light vehicles may be considered on Technical advice from the Concerned Department in view of the Christmas season, it stated. “However, use of heavy vehicle will be completely stop atleast for another 45 days till the rectification works including the wing walls is completed, in this regards, the NFHRCC endorsed RALH and YAPO to kindly coordinate on the complete adherence of the travel advisory till such time that the whole rectifications is completed and fit to allow heavy vehicles to ply,” it added.
