DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 14 (MExN): The United Sangtam Region (USR), GPRN/NSCN (U) during its periodic region meeting held in the first week of September 2024 deliberated on the issue of government and public importance in light of the anti-national activities, impersonation and maligning of the name of GPRN/NSCN (U) under its jurisdiction.
Despite United Sangtam Region (USR), GPRN/NSCN (U) best efforts to uphold peace and tranquility in the region, some individuals with vested interest are mobilizing and attempting to establish a new United Sangtam administrative region taking the name of GPRN/NSCN (U), a press release received from the Regional Administrative Officer, USR, Alex Sangtam stated.
On this, the USR, GPRN/NSCN (U) said it will not allow such activities in the region and warned that any individual/group(s) impersonating the nomenclature of GPRN/NSCN (U) and indulging in mobilization activities will be held solely accountable for any eventuality that results from disregarding this information.
It, meanwhile, declared its firm and unwavering support to the collective leadership of Gen (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak, President and Alezo Venuh, Ato Kilonser.
