USSC seeks clarification, justice from NPSC

KIPHIRE, MAY 3 (MExN):  Communicating resentment over the denial of the post of Medical Officer to a Sangtam candidate under Backward Quota (Roster) the United Sangtam Students’ Conference has filed a complaint to the Secretary of NPSC. A release issued jointly by the president Hotingkyu Sangtam and general secretary Chemdila stated that the community had been taken by surprise. Reportedly it is confirmed that the Sangtam candidate was due in the selection for the post of Medical officer. However, the release stated that the Commission’s policy for recruitment of backward tribe was left unfulfilled with the only Sangtam candidate being denied the rightful place under roster system. The union therefore sought clarification and from the Commission at an early date failing which, the USSC stated that it would be compelled to take its own course of action.
