Dimapur, August 30 (MExN): The United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) established in 1948 will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in the year 2023.
In view of the 75th anniversary, the USSC has constituted a planning committee comprising of 31 members led by Imlikhumba Sangtam as Convenor, Kirithong as Co-Convenor, T Rongli Sangtam and I Daniel as Secretary and Joint Secretary. A dedicatory prayer for the committee was held at Longkhim Town Baptist Church on August 22.
During the occasion, a press release from the USSC said that the planning committee called on the various civil societies of Longkhim town and held a consultative meeting. After threadbare discussion the meeting decided that the 75th anniversary programme will be held at Longkhim town, Sub-Hq of the USSC. The planning committee has appealed to all the Sangtam community, churches and well wishers to pray for the success of the anniversary.
