UUCCK, UZKK condemns NSCN (IM) for assault

Dimapur, October 26 (MExN): The Usutomi Union & Cultural Club, Kohima (UUCCK) and the Usutomi-Zhevishe’ Union Students’ Union (UZKK) today strongly condemned the NSCN (IM) for assaulting one person on grounds of suspicion on October 22 at KVSA ground, Kohima during the ongoing Sumi Youth Sports Meet.

A press release issued by the Chairman of UUCCK, Lashito Awomi, while condemning the incident, said that both the UUCCK and UZKK has clearly mentioned and informed that the victim, Kumughato L Awomi, is the son of Lashito Awomi, the UUCCK Chairman and presently residing at Upper Agri Colony and that the victim does not belong to any faction or work for any of the factions as an intelligent agent.

The release asserted that the victim is an obedient youth among the Usutomi Youths in Kohima and therefore ‘certified’ that none of the factions should be suspicious of Kumughato L Awomi in any ground, and added that entire blame would be put on the ‘said factions’ if anything happens to Kumughato L Awomi.

The release further appealed to both the NSCN (IM) ‘not to make an embarrassment to the civil public on the suspicious manner without properly knowing of the person (sic)’.
