Dimapur, June 23 (MExN): The government has issued orders to all Intangki National Park encroachers to leave the area ‘voluntarily.’ The order of the government issued through the Wildlife Division of Dimapur, is a follow-up action of the decision taken on June 20. The chief minister had convened a meeting with ministers, parliamentary secretaries, legislators of all the parties and the Naga civil society. In the meeting, the decision to preserve and protect Intanki National Park was taken. “The encroachers in the Intanki National Park are therefore, hereby directed to voluntarily vacate the encroachment site immediately. Failing which you will be evicted as per the provision of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972” stated the order received here from Zhotoho Angami, Wildlife Warden of Dimapur Wildlife Division.
