KOHIMA, June 30 (MExN): The three-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) organized by Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church at D.Block concluded today. The event, held from June 28 to 30, saw participation from Sunday school children who showcased their talents through group songs, choreography, and recitations of Bible verses.
During the culmination service today, Youth Pastor Kungkam Newmai delivered a message, drawing from Isaiah 43:2 to remind the congregation of God's steadfast presence during challenges. "We are reassured that despite facing deep waters and fires in life, we will not be overwhelmed or consumed because God is with us," she emphasized. Pastor Newmai also highlighted the significance of trials in strengthening one's faith.
The program was organized under the guidance of Sunday school superintendent Phungben, assisted by Nchangbui and Luluna. Reflecting on the event, the Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church expressed gratitude for the community's enthusiastic participation and support.
